The North West, home of Cumbrian haematite mining.
The tranquil Lake District. The busy bustling hubbub of industrial Manchester. This is the more common façade of a richly mined region of the UK.
Evidenced by mining related subsidence at Egremont, Hodbarrow, Millom, Dalton-in-Furness to name a few places.
