Remediation inspection reports of the completed works will be provided.

Typical investigation techniques include:

  • Trial pitting and trenching using a wheeled tracked mini crawler or swing shovel machines.
  • Boreholes using vertical and inclined drill holes carried out by a specialist contractor under our supervision, suitable for investigating beneath buildings or property or where there are access constraints.
  • Makintosh probing/hand dug trial pitting. In certain cases, it is sometimes required that particular features indicated from archive records, or structural defects observed by inspection, are clarified as regards the presence, general extent and location of untoward ground conditions, by the simplest and least disturbing method possible. Simple hand probing using a Makintosh extension tool, combined with at least one small trial pit can often satisfy the above sufficiently for a purchase decision to be made, and these reports are normally acceptable for mortgage and insurance purposes.
